Sore Fingers Summer Schools is Europe’s leading organisation for bluegrass and old-time music camps, offering world class tuition for all the instruments played in bluegrass as well as old-time fiddle and banjo, autoharp and singing.

Crossover Festival is an American Bluegrass, Oldtime, Americana and Country music event . Set in the heart of the Cheshire Countryside on a farm site which includes a quirky indoor Opera Theatre where we host our amazing concerts with quality sound . A whole range of workshops in all related instruments at different levels from beginners to masterclasses from a selection of our outstanding performers . Children under 18 free with accompanying paying adult.
The venue also boasts many separate rooms where workshops, stalls, dance and sessions take place . Ticket price includes camping for this 4 day bank holiday weekend.

Headline Ruben Matt and the Truffle Valley Boys (Italy). Workshops, Slow Jams, special events and featuring our Single Mic. Band Competition with prizes, and the new Open Mic. Competition with prizes.
26th November – Last Chance Saloon
All day event, with jamming, workshops, special events, and an evening concert with top UK bands.

Third annual festival held in Arisaig, West Highlands, Scotland.

After two years of on line events, Westport Folk and Bluegrass Festival will return to live and in person event over many venues in the centre of Westport, Co. Mayo.

The festival will welcome 15 different acts from the US, UK, Germany, Czech Republic and from Ireland.

The program will feature pub gigs, concerts, sessions, workshops as well as the much loved Gospel Hour, Square Dance and the Mystery Gig….

Among the acts are the world renown Henhouse Prowlers (Chicago), Award winning Stillhouse Junkies (Colorado) and California Old Time band SLO County Stumblers to name but a few.

A Bluegrass weekend of camping and picking in `Old` South Lancashire town of Rainford. The weekend will allow full use of the Junction Pub and its large function room and marquee. Very large camping area in view of the East Pennines. Stage and PA system available as well as full toilet block and soon to be installed shower unit. The weekend begins on the afternoon of Friday the 12th of August and will run until Sunday the 14th. Admittance will be from 3:00 pm on Friday the 12th. The full schedule will be updated nearer the time, but the broad themes are as follows.​
On Friday night Panteg house and the grounds will be open for picking sessions and there will be an open stage hosting local musical talent with a slightly wider remit than Bluegrass and Old Time. 
On Saturday there will be a programme of workshops and an afternoon concert in addition to picking sessions.​
Sunday will close the weekend with an early afternoon concert.
